On May 4th, 2022 SANDS member Alejandra Rodriguez Vega will be presenting our work A Study of Solar Cooking: Exploring Climate- Resilient Food Preparation and Opportunities for HCI at the international ACM conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI 2022).
We present a short film based on one of those creations, the Dream Classroom. A project that critically explores how we use space, lighting and layout in our learning spaces.
Over a course of a year, we have collected data on what community members envision the future of spaces, services, and objects to be.
We developed our own creativity support tool, an online platform DreamDrone.org, where community members can envision and re-imagine how drones look, their capabilities, and scenarios in which they can be used.
